The objective of the project is to establish a Planning and Monitoring Unit in the Ministry of Narcotics Control (MoNC). This initiative would strengthen the planning and monitoring capability of the MoNC, by overseeing the various projects undertaken by the Ministry.

The objective of the project is to set up a center that would annually rehabilitate 360 addicts, while assisting over 1,000 addicts during the course of the project. Such a treatment center would also minimize the risk of relapse and would help in reintegrating addicts into the society by providing rehab and vocational training.
